I had a car for sale on an online site and I got an email offering to buy my car for the advertised price. This guy wants to send me a check for $10,000 for a $4,000 car. And then wants me to send him a check back for the balance, ok, obviously a scam. My question is who do I report this to? I already filed a complaint/observation with the FBI, but they are taking their sweet time to get back to me. I haven’t actually been scammed yet, but if an agency wanted to work with me we could probably catch this guy. Thanks for any help.
