I am obviously thinking that the repair shop is ripping him off or doing something else fishy with the car. I do not know if he has kept in touch with them over this time or not. I told him to get the car out of that shop right away, and find another repair shop.

Has anyone else heard of a car repair shop taking months to repair a car for something as simple as brakes?
I do not know why he would wait so long. All he said was: I havent seen my car for over 5 months cause its been in a shop that long and they still have yet to look at it.

Of course you are always going to find something else to fix on a car that old. Most shops I take it to get authorization B4 performaing additional tasks. If this happens to be a law in Colorado, will you please point me in the direction to find in the law books.
