Well i was origionally going to get a civic beacuse of its gas mileage, but i had found a Geo Metro which gets around 40-45mpg and its old so its really cheap. Are theyre any other cars like that i dont know about that get great gas milage and isnt expensive?

older vw cars with diesel engines can get up and even over 50 mpg.
there other small diesel cars like the isuzu imark, ford excort diesel, nissan diesel, toyota diesel that get good mpg. but these are harder to find.

the hybrid cars are supposed to be good on gas.. the toyota prius and the honda civic hybrid theres a new suv thats a hybrid too.

the metro i have gets 46 around town and 45-52 on the hwy depending on hills.
they made an xfi variant that was rated at 54 hwy or so as well.
the honda crx was rated up to 58 mpg if you got the efficiency motor.
the ford escort diesel was rated at 67 mpg
the older rabbit and jetta diesels would get around 60, the 94-04 ones around 50 hwy and the new ones around 40.
then there’s the hybrids, which are expensive but get up to 67 if you get the old insights.
