the way i sand primer is with 400 grit with a block and then 600 grit, 800 grit is just too much

Whoever sprayed the primer went all the way to the tape. You can see the edges, no 800 grit is gonna feather that primer out.

I’ve read a few critiques regarding the taping in this video and it dawned on me that a detailed “How To Tape Like a Pro” video would be very beneficial to a much more appreciative audience. You could target dirt reduction, over-spray elimination, cost reduction, bag vs spray-mask pros and cons, increasing efficiency, etc, in one video. This information would be extremely beneficial to all levels of expertise in the field.

I appreciate the effort behind this, but I’m not really sure who the target viewer would be. The material is too novice for an expert and too broad for a novice. Sort of like telling the story of how cars are fixed instead of showing how to fix a car. Two very different things.

Great! but you don’t color sand primer
color sanding comes after painting.
