well, it’s not that *** lol. the steel (4140) from witch the axles are made is kind of expensive. it’s the same steel witch is use for rifles barrels :P

“…once it damages the joint its self, then its a more costly repair…” Not necessarily true, just buy a new drive axle and pop it in. I got new drive axles for my Toyota for $75 Each. I love how car service people blow the cost of a repair to the moon when its not that hard or expensive to do it yourself. Went for inspection, $50 to replace a $3 exhaust gasket, did the job myself in less than 10 minutes and passed the inspection.

the problem is the rubber they use these days is crap and it starts cracking in no time they just don’t make things like they used to.

yea lol….i just replaced 2 of my axle because their boot had worn out for long…it cost me $512.00 to replaced 2 axles -.-….fucking *** lol
