comeon guys you are taking the whole thing very seriously.. this is a gr8 ad i must say.. notice the use of subtle tongue in cheek humour.. it also reflects the volkswagon brand perfectly.. the kid is cute hehe.. this ad deserves more than just criticism..
And that’s how a honcho’s son sounds? Come on, that kind of kid in India does a better Eng accent than that. ‘Premium segment’ anyone - VW?

Simply awful ad, a very poor representation of VW. VW is known for some great commercials. This one is long, tedious, and overracted. Almost dumbed down 10x for India by VW. The most jarring note is the kid’s awful vernacular accent. What were VW and DDB Mudra thinking - they were ok with this? VW Wolfsburg gave the thumbs up for this ad?

Ok. Just one little question.
At 18 hes going to college.
at say around 22 he gets out, then he goes for mba(say another 2 years)
so you are telling me that as soon as he has finished mba the company chairman is going to say. “you’ve got an mba degree you’re better than everyone else, even those with ten year job experience!!!! You’re the new Vice-President!!!!”
Shame on you…Copied without any change from the Porsche 911 commercial released some years before…..more over spoiled the beauty..
