My neice got a vw bug off ebay and has never had any trouble with it.

Just check the persons feedback, everyone I know who has bought from a respectable seller has had no problems.

I think your better off using Craigs list because you don’t have to place a bid on it. You can see the vehicle first and check it out before you commit to a price.

Ebay motors can be a good place to buy a car. Just be careful of scams. Check the sellers feedback and make sure it is not positive for just a few items. Make sure they have bought and sold and have had a membership for a bit. Just remember if it sounds way to good to be true it probably is.
