of coarse not!!!
I’ll stick with cars that run on gas.
Until the big change comes that is… haha.
Many people are buying hybrids, but the hybrids are not being purchased in greater numbers of the other cars. Reports on the hybrids thus far is that they are a good buy if you mainly thinking “green”, but if you’re thinking economy, the added gas savings coupled with the higher price of the car itself, does not have a very good return on investment yet. Perhaps it will be better when car purchase prices get lower.
Although hybrids are growing in popularity, they are not yet selling at a rate faster than conventional vehicles. Last month was the all-time best month for hybrid sales, 23,554 hybrids sold in the United States. But that is a small slice of the 1,489,922 vehicles that were sold in the United States last month.
As gas prices continue to inch up and more hybrids become available, more people will find themselves behind the wheel of a hybrid.
