I don’t recall seeing much from the Unions in the Press. I would think they see illegals as scabs crossing the picket line (the US border). Average American wages have fallen in construction (framers, landscaping, etc.) and service (hotel cleaning, etc.) industries. I would think it’s only a matter of time when coveted jobs like auto manufacturing, trucking, steel work, and others would eventually suffer a wage drop. Can any Union members share some info?

Worthless. The unions here in CA tell us to vote for the liberal every time. They haven’t figured out that their is no way an open boarder democrat is really on the side of labor. It is pure double talk. The unions are run by old farts who think that the dems are still the red white and blue, I love america, blue colar party that they mostly were back in their day. If anyone is really on the side of labor in America they must be infavor of tight boarder security and absolute deportation. Waves of aliens and immigrants cause inflation and lower wages. That is a fact of reality. The labor unions are on the wrong side completely. Not that the republicans are any better. We need a third party in America that actually cares about the interest of the American people rather than the interest of special interest groups. I love this country, and I hope one day the government will impower the citizens of this country to deport and kill illegal aliens.

All the Union Brothers Sisters that I know are AGAINST illegal immigration. There is a flood of cheap labor that can be hired to do their jobs - cheaper, less trained, and completely immune to safety standards. They’re illegal, do you really think a company that breaks the law to hire them is going to obey Labor Laws and OSHA standards?
Worker’s rights are going down the drain in companies that have the option and will to hire illegal labor. It’s against everything Unions stand for - Fair Pay, Safety, and Quality.
