altinater and all electicals,,, DONT use high pressuer, dont use to much water
do i need to cover anything up or can i just straight wash it like that?
your engine dont have to be running, thats just when it is already hot to keep from cracking anything that is hot, cause the water is cold…not good for cast, and as for the alternator, I’ve been cleaning a D8R dozer for 5 years with the same alternator every 50 hours for look over servicing and has stayed at 26.4 volts, seeing it has 24 volt batteries and use it all the time on my vehicle, just dont go crazy with it, just run over it about 15 inches away and be done with it…
this doesn’t seem like a good way to clean the engine. shouldn’t you be covering up the electrical and electronic components with plastic to prevent short circuit? that’s what manufacturers recommend.
