Hi, my friend had an accident. And her brain seems to auto delete unwanted bad memories. I am trying to find the name for it and a cure.
This is not the 1st time seriously bad incident happen to her and every time shortly after she experienced it, the memory seems to disappear and it all seems a dream to her and she can’t recall back as it has been erased.

It could be amnesia, but more than likely she’s just into denial because she doesn’t want to deal with those bad memories or talk about them. Respect that about her. If she’s worried that she cannot remember, she should probably see a therapist so she can come to learn to deal with bad things in ways that are more healing.
